Years ago, my two younger brothers screwed a skateboard to a sled, building what they called the “luge cart.” My brothers proceeded to ride the luge cart downhill daily. I can count the number of times, on one hand, that I ventured into the luge cart and down the hill. Instead, preferring to stay indoors like a house cat.
My brothers trained hard, sacrificing their bodies, but never qualified for the X-Games.
My indoor training was masterful, leading to a gold medal in quarantining.

The COVID-19 crisis and the potential outcomes are shocking to most, but it turns out some people are more prepared than others, thanks to a two-decade-old action film.
The 1993 movie Demolition Man starring, Sandra Bullock, Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Benjamin Bratt, and Rob Schnieder, best exemplifies the coronavirus crisis we face today.
Stallone stars as Officer John Spartan, a wrongly convicted police officer, who in 1996 is sentenced to be cryogenically frozen. In the year 2032, the cities of Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Barbara have merged into the peaceful, utopia San Angeles. That is until crime lord Simon Pheonix (Wesley Snipes) threatens violence upon the city. The only hope for San Angeles is to cryogenically unfreeze John Spartan in order to recapture Simon Pheonix.
